David Stine at Murmuration, STL Design Week

Hi everyone! We are so excited to be participating in two great events here in St. Louis.

The first is Friday@Murmuration on Friday, Sept. 23. Produced by Alive Magazine and presented by Monsanto, Friday@Murmuration is the big kick-off event to the Murmuration Festival, a weekend of art, music, science, and technology at Cortex. On Friday night, we will be exhibiting our work along with other St. Louis craftsmen, artists, musicians, and tech people.

The Friday evening event is free and open to the public and includes exhibits, live music (the St. Louis Symphony!), food, and interactive displays. Click below for more info:

Friday, Sept. 23, 6-10 p.m.
4240 Duncan Ave.

We are equally proud to be part of St. Louis Design Week this year, and we will be participating in a panel discussion on:

The Roots of Commercial Design in St. Louis:

How Raw Materials, Environment, and Collaboration Drive Design

The panelists are:

  • Sarah Frost, senior designer, The Saint Louis Brewery (Schlafly)
  • Tom Niemeier, founder and architect, Space Architecture + Design
  • Mike Spakowski, creative director, Atomic Dust
  • David Stine, David Stine Woodworking

Kelly Hamilton, publisher and editor-in-chief of EQ Magazine, will moderate the discussion.

The event is Tuesday, Oct. 4 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Schlafly Tap Room. Tickets are required, as space is limited. Click below for tickets and info:
