Wood Species

Here at David Stine Furniture, we work only with wood that we sustainably harvest from our family farm here in Illinois. No veneers, no imports, no engineered or manufactured materials — just solid, natural American hardwoods. We think it’s the best and most beautiful wood in the world.

Our forests here in Illinois have an abundance of species, and we try to use as many of them as possible in our work.

Our dining tables are available in ash, cherry, maple, oak, pine, sycamore, and walnut.

Our coffee and occasional tables are available in the above species, plus gingko, Osage orange, Sweet gum, and walnut burl.
